Mortal Kombat XL is coming to PC after all

Earlier this year PC gamers discovered they were not getting the Mortal Kombat XL and Kombat Pack 2. It now looks like Warner has changed their minds.

Aa tweet from NetherRealm’s Ed Boon reads, “Maybe we should Karry eXtra Long People who Care?” highlighting the MKXL part in the sentence accompanied by a circuit board.

This update follows a post from the start of the month which reads, “Over 10,000 of you voted. Looks like you guys really want a PC MKXL and some character love/buffs! We hear ya!”.

The PC community were upset that there was a lack of support for the game on PC and a petition was launched which received over 11K signatures. Players had expected future updates following the initial game release which is why they felt let down and many requested refunds.

Although Injustice 2 has not been announced for PC, it could make an appearance and this could be Warner attempting to bring the PC community back on side ahead of a future announcement.

Peter addressed this issue in an article back in January which explained why Warner abandoning Mortal Kombat XL was another blow to their reputation.
