Fortnite Season 7 at last introduced the highly anticipated alien invasion into the game. With it came plenty of brand new content for players to enjoy. In addition, this season of Fortnite allows you to get your hands on a new mythic weapon called the Pulse Rifle. To access this powerful weapon, you will have to defeat Dr. Slone. They are the newest boss to be added into the game for Season 7.
Dr. Slone is not difficult to locate as they can be found at the very middle of the map. This area has housed many bosses in the past and is where the Spire used to be located. The weapon Dr. Slone wields is none other than the Mythic Pulse Rifle in Fortnite. The well-known Fortnite leaker, HYPEX, shared the stats of this particular weapon. It deals a whopping 38 damage, with a fire rate of 4.2 seconds. Also, it has a magazine size of 16, accompanied by a relatively short 2.6775 second reload time.
Fighting for Dr. Slone’s Mythic Pulse Rifle in Fortnite
As always, boss fights can prove to be quite the challenge in the battle royale. Apart from a powerful weapon, Fortnite bosses have a huge amount of health. Therefore, you will want to make sure that you have some strong weapons to take into the fight. Maybe even a team to back you up. In addition, it will be useful to have some heals such as shields and med-kits on hand. Aiming for headshot damage is the best way to take out this boss efficiently.
It is definitely worth trying to defeat Dr. Slone to acquire the Mythic Pulse Rifle they wield. It is important to note that apart from the boss, you may be confronted by other players wanting to take the weapon for themselves.
