Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst will be slightly late on PC

Namco Bandai has announced the release date for the much-anticipated (by some) Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst, but only on consoles. They’ll be getting it on 22 October, but the Steam version is set only for “Fall.” That could technically still be before 22 October, but let’s be honest, it probably means it’ll be a little bit after that.

Naruto Shippu … you know what, I think I’m going to shorten that to NS:UNS3FB … is a super-duper enhanced version of the latest entry in the Naruto Shippunden series, complete with 38 extra costumes (see above for the fashion parade) and fancy new cinematics. However, the costumes only come with a retail version of the game … which the PC isn’t going to have as it’s only coming out digitally through Steam.

Does that mean we miss out on playing dress-ups? I’ve asked Namco, but I’m not holding my breath for a response.

The game’s trailer (below) doesn’t really clear up that mystery, but it does let you see a side-by-side comparison of the rejigged cutscenes.
