No Elder Scrolls Or Fallout DLC

Bethesda’s Todd Howard has said the company will not be making an Elder Scrolls game, nor will there be any more Falllout DLC.

Speaking at QuakeCon 2009, Howard said not to “look [for] a new Elder Scrolls game in the near future'” but did jokingly imply that “there’s always a chance” for an Elder Scrolls MMO.

A surprise maybe to those who expected to see a new title after Bethesda let slip last year that there maybe a new Elder Scrolls title for 2010.

Not so surprisingly, however, was the announcement the company would not produce anymore Fallout 3 DLC.  The last DLC, Mothership Zeta wasn’t as impressive as it could have been, according to Marcus’ review.  With Fallout: New Vegas coming next year, and being developed by a third party developer, it maybe best Fallout 3 takes a back seat.

And don’t forget, we’ve got Brink to look forward to, and the potential three new id titles too, so maybe things aren’t too bad, ‘eh?
