Palworld Roadmap: All Future Updates & Content Drops, Explained

More Pals, more fun.

Palworld has come into early access with meteoric speed, smashing through the million-player mark within hours of release. Now, as the game continues with undreamt of funds, the roadmap for Palworld is all that more important. What do we have in store for this huge indie success?

Palworld roadmap

We have all been wondering just what is in store for us as Palworld fans, and Twitter has provided. A roadmap was promised, and so far, a Tweet is what we have to work with.

Quality of life settings

Of course, the main thing that needs to be constantly tweaked in every early access and final release game, I think, is the quality of life. The roadmap addresses issues with Pal functionality in the base and some issues with key configurations.

Along with the main issues players have noted are several bug fixes that have arisen over the millions of hours of playtesting the early access of Palworld has resulted in.

New additions

More interestingly, this is what the Palworld team has planned for the future of the roadmap. The game is still rather bare-bones, and the future looks bright.

  • PVP – the introduction of a PVP mode will pit player against player to really discover which the best trainer/slave driver of them all is.
  • Raid Bosses – These are planned as endgame content for when all the challenges, Pals, and bosses have been defeated. These are in the Palworld roadmap for the elite few to take down as a team.
  • PvP Arena – Pit your Pals against other players to see if your breeding fusion and training have paid off.
  • Xbox/Steam crossplay – As of yet, there is no crossplay, but the Palworld roadmap promises it in the not-too-distant future.
  • Xbox Functionality – There have been a few problems with the Xbox version of Palworld lacking behind the Steam one. This should bring them up to speed.
  • Server Functionality – Palworld is dedicating itself to being a functioning online game in its roadmap. The improvements to server migration and transfer will only make it easier.
  • Building System You may have found the building system lacking and a little buggy. These improvements will make the base building as artful as Valheim, hopefully.
  • All new Bosses, Pals, Islands, and Tech – It’s what we all want, and the Palworld roadmap looks to deliver. The team are planning to dedicate themselves to expanding the game as we know it. Endless updates mean endless playability.

While you wait for official content, why do you try out some fan-made mods to spice up your time with Palworld?
