Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous — Lost Chapel guide

The Lost Chapel is a location that you'll go to in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. This occurs toward the end of Act II just before you reach Drezen. Here's our Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Lost Chapel guide to help you in rescuing your companions, finding the Shrine of Desna, unlocking the Lich Mythic Path, acquiring your second Mythic Hero level, and completing A Strike from the Sky. Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - Lost Chapel guide — A Strike from the Sky Since we're going to discuss several areas and a few secrets, I've split up this Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Lost Chapel guide into several sections: Night attack and rescuing your companions Inside the chapel: The Lich Mythic Path Finding Irabeth and defeating Nulkineth Shrine of Desna: The secret cave and recruiting Arueshalae Night attack at the camp and rescuing your companions along the mountain path Just when you're close enough to the Lost Chapel in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, your movement on the world map will lead to a special event. Your camp gets attacked by gargoyles. This begins a quest called A Strike from the Sky. Exit the tent and defeat the demons in the camp. You'll meet up with some of your companions such as Lann, Camellia, and Seelah as you progress. As for the others, they've been taken to the foothills below the Lost Chapel. Anyway, the goal is to follow the winding path that slopes upward. You'll encounter more of your companions as you battle additional gargoyles. You can have them join the party immediately, or tell them to wait near the starting area. You'll encounter your pals in this order: Nenio -> Ember/Daeran -> Sosiel -> Regill. Note: Anevia (who's also at the starting area) will let you swap among your party members. The gate to the Lost Chapel is guarded by several cultists. Their leader has the Honorable Judgment gnome hooked hammer (additional holy damage dealt vs. Chaotic enemies if the wielder follows the Lawful alignment). Then, upon entering the Lost Chapel, you'll see that several crusaders have been corrupted. Transformed Rathimus here drops an Amulet of Agile Fists (+2 bonus to unarmed attack/damage rolls). Oh, and if you managed to get her to join the crusade, Queen Galfrey will appear to lend a hand. All right, we could discuss other stuff now: You can visit the library to acquire the Lich Mythic Path. Alternatively, you could rescue Irabeth and fight Nulkineth. This is our objective for the main quest. Or, you can find the Shrine of Desna further down below the mountain, so we can recruit Arueshalae early. Unlocking the Lich Mythic Path Let's say you want to unlock the Lich Mythic Path in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. Well, make sure that you've acquired the Wand of Zacharius. You can find it in the Leper's Smile cavern. Since you're in a library, almost all the bookshelves here can be looted. As for the enemies, you'll see a few stone golems in certain rooms. Also, regarding the loot, you can pick up the Elven Notes for the Storyteller here. Likewise, there's an Imp Devil familiar summon (+2 bonus for Trickery and Stealth checks), Lesser Maximize Metamagic Rod (consumable), and Duality of Conjuration and Summoning (consumable). Of course, our objective here is the Lich Mythic Path. Well, you'll find the lich named Zacharius in one of the rooms here. There are several dialogue choices, including the option to attack him. But, you'll want to pick the "evil" response where you give him his wand. You can also accept his offer to send his undead to battle the other hostiles in the Lost Chapel. Congrats! You'll have the Lich Mythic Path available when you're ready to select one later in the campaign. Anyway, speaking of Mythic Paths, let's finish the Strike from the Sky quest so we can gain another Mythic Hero rank-up. Rescuing Irabeth, defeating Nulkineth, and acquiring Mythic Hero rank 2 Go back to the main area of the Lost Chapel (where you fought the corrupted crusaders). There's a doorway here that's off to the side. While you're making your way from the yard to the cellars, you'll see a couple of crusaders that are being tortured by ghouls. The only way you can save them is if you pass a Stealth 22 check. If you can't meet this requirement, then they'll just get killed. Past this point, you'll find Irabeth. She's still alive, so tell her to wait at the foot of the hill. Before you head to the back, make sure you're buffed up. Nulkineth is waiting for you here, and both Minagho and Staunton Vale are watching close by. Crusaders will be aiding you during the Nulkineth boss fight, so it won't be too much of a hassle. After killing Nulkineth, you'll receive the following: Flail of False Hope - Restores HP when you land critical hits (only for chaotic evil, chaotic neutral, or neutral evil alignments). Belt of Mighty Constitution - +2 CON. Cloak of Resistance +2 bonus to saving throws. Moreover, you'll increase your Mythic Hero rank. This gets us prepped for our assault on Drezen. But, before you do advance to that location, you might want to visit the Shrine of Desna first since we have an opportunity to recruit Arueshalae early.
