CCP Games has finally introduced the option of paying for a montly EVE Online subscription in pounds sterling. A month pass will set you back £9.99. Previously, British players were forced to pay in Euros.
The ability to pay in British Pounds results in roughly a 20% price reduction to play the sci-fi MMO.
At present, there are over 400,000 subscribers playing EVE Online globally and (according to CCP) is the only MMO to see annual growth over the past eight years since launch.
An expansion, EVE Online: Inferno, will be available to all paid subscribers and trial members on 22 May.
