Persona 5 Royal DLC

Persona 5 Royal’s PC port will come with all of its DLC

One last surprise.

It’s still weird to think that Persona 5 Royal is coming to PC. But it’s indeed happening, and a new audience will finally get to check out the critically acclaimed JRPG. PC players also get a big bonus with the new port of Persona 5 Royal, as it comes with all the DLC previously released for the game. This was confirmed by the official Persona website (cheers, PC Gamer), which outlines each of the DLC packs coming with the game.

Persona 5 is a game that’s known to have an abundance of extra content. From different outfits, items, Personas, and music tracks, there’s usually a lot to buy. Even when Persona 5‘s original version came out there were dozens of add-ons for the game. Luckily, the DLC for the original version came free with Persona 5 Royal. However, there was even more DLC to buy for Persona 5 Royal, numbering 45 in total.

None of the DLC is necessarily important to the main plot of the game. For the most part, they offer fun additions that can spice up the experience. For example, one of the DLC packs for Royal includes the outfits from Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight. There’s also DLC that can make the game a little easier. These come in the form of new Personas like Raoul or Izanagi-no-Okami, and full sets of powerful recovery items. There are also optional challenge battles you can try that pit you against the protagonists of Persona 3 and Persona 4.

The ultimate Persona 5 package

While none of the DLC is really all that important to have, they do offer some nice extras for the game. Persona 5‘s original DLC also comes with many of the same sorts of things. Longtime Persona fans can also use outfits from the previous games that also come with a classic battle theme depending on the outfit you choose. Again, you don’t need this stuff to properly enjoy the game, but it’s nice to have.

With all of that DLC, it’s fair to say that Persona 5 Royal‘s PC port could be the definitive way to experience it. This is especially true if you’ve yet to play the game. Persona 5 Royal is a massive JRPG with over a hundred hours of content, and that’s without the DLC. So, if you’ve got PC Game Pass, you can check out Persona 5 Royal yourself when it lands on October 21.
