QuakeCon forums report hacking attempt

Yet another exciting opportunity to change your username and password details has emerged, this time from the QuakeCon forums.
A brief message on the QuakeCon website states that “in recent days” the old QuakeCon forums were hacked, compromising usernames and passwords. It’s recommended that anyone using the same details on other sites should make appropriate changes.
The new forums for QuakeCon 2011 are promised to go live “shortly” and, we’re assured, “appropriate steps” have been taken to secure them from a similar attack.
