It seems EA have revealed the release date of Battlefield Hardline’s beta to their loyal community.

Based on this email that several fans have received, the game is coming out as soon as February 3.
If you may remember, the game received indefinite delays over growing controversy against police in real life when the circumstances surrounding Eric Garner’s death grew to unrest and protest action in Ferguson.
If the game had released near the holidays, it would have hit too close to home, but one wonders if this is still too soon to bring it back, or if EA should have considered not releasing the game at all.
