RuneScape’s 2015 Christmas Event is Here

It’s December 1st today, which means it’s time to bust out that advent calendar . . . and hunt for the Anti-Santa? Obviously we’re talking about the RuneScape 2015 Christmas event that will be split up across its two games: Main RuneScape & Old RuneScape. Jagex’s uber popular MMORPG goes all out for their holiday festivities and this year is no exception. Along with daily rare rewards from now till Christmas, players will get access to two unique Christmas themed quest lines.

As shown in the title image the Main RuneScape’s Christmas event in the story of The Pinch Who Stole Christmas. Here, players will investigate a series of missing in-game characters all with ties to the winter festival. And don’t worry, players will also get to uncover what’s behind the mysterious iceberg that arose off the coast of Daemonheim covered in gifts!

Every section completed in the quest line will unlock fun, new Christmas activities such as the “Great Gielinor Bake Off.” All Main RuneScape users will also have access to special daily gifts via the game’s advent calendar. Each item has the chance to be rare, so try not to skip any days.

If Old RuneScape is the game of choice, expect a different, slightly darker quest line. In this story, players must do their best to thwart the Anti-Santa, who might be recognizable from the Death’s Home Halloween event. These old school players can take place in a specialized streaming event via Twitch, where they’ll have a chance to win the ultra rare party and Santa hats from the 2001-2002 Christmas events. It’s unbelievable how much those things sell for in the Grand Exchange.

RuneScape Winter Holiday

If the holiday season is a bit too busy, don’t worry. This event will continue from now all the way to January the 11th, 2016. Good luck and warmest wishes.
