Croteam has made a brief announcement, revealing that Serious Sam 3: BFE will be released this summer.
More details should be on the way “soon,” such as platforms and a reminder of what exactly the BFE stands for. Hopefully there’ll be some screenshots too. For now, all we have is a release date.
In itself, this is quite interesting, as it means that 2011 is lining up to be a good year for absurdist FPS titles. With Duke Nukem and Bulletstorm also on the way, fans of slightly demented shooters will have a lot of choice.
