Sid Meier’s Starships First Footage Previewed By Sid Himself

Firaxis and 2K have shared the first footage preview of Sid Meier’s Starships. Sid himself was on there to host the preview.

The game is comparable to Homeworld, but as a Civilization Beyond Earth spinoff, there’s a closer emphasis to the simulation elements than combat. Fans who have played Beyond Earth will be familiar with many elements in here as well, including affinities, upgrade systems, exploration, and even nuances in combat.
