Festung Guernsey is the fifth mission in Sniper Elite 5‘s campaign. It takes you to the island of Guernsey which is occupied by the Nazis. They’re waiting for Operation Kraken to come to fruition, further bolstered by aid from Imperial Japan. Still, you might want to eliminate a particular target for a weapon unlock and extra XP. Sniper Elite 5 – Festung Guernsey Kill List guide (Mission 5 – Lanzo Baumann)
Lanzo Baumann, your Festung Guernsey Kill List target in Sniper Elite 5, can be found at a construction site in the northeastern part of the map. The challenge requires you to bury him in cement.
This level has you starting from the southern section, eventually reaching the open fields of the island. It’s more freeform compared to other maps given that mission objectives are in various places. But, if you’re looking for the Workbench locations, you should spot one that’s inside a house near the construction site itself.
As for Baumann, you’ll find him in the southwestern tent close to the cement mixer controls. There are a couple of ways to finish this task successfully:
- Without getting spotted, interact with the wooden railing to weaken it. Then, interact with the cement mixer to sabotage it. Doing so will cause Baumann to investigate before leaning on the wooden railing, and he’ll fall to his doom.
- Alternatively, you can just knock him out (i.e., press “C” in melee range). While he’s unconscious, hold “C” to carry him, then bring him to the wooden railing. You can press “F” to pay your respects (and throw him over the barrier).
This will complete this particular Kill List task in Sniper Elite 5. You’ll receive the Type 100 for your efforts.
