Sniper Elite V2 tops UK chart

Stealth-shooter Sniper Elite V2 sits atop the latest UK all-format software chart. Last week’s number one, Prototype 2, slipped down to second.
Throughout the entire top 40, Sniper Elite V2 and the PS Vita edition of Mortal Kombat were the only new releases to feature. Mortal Kombat managed 33rd.
Piratey RPG Risen 2: Dark Waters was nowhere to be seen, although it must be pointed out that the game has only launched on PC and the chart doesn’t include sales from digital downloads. The console edition of Risen 2 doesn’t hit shelves until August in the EU, and July in the US.
