Unfortunately, it seems like some unlucky Spiderman 2 players are trying to figure out how to fix the EMF suit not unlocking for them.
After completing all of the EMF Experiments, you’re supposed to unlock a special suit. But certain players are having trouble earning this suit. Let’s go over some possible solutions to this problem.
EMF suit not unlocking in Spider-Man 2
There are a few possible reasons why you haven’t yet earned the EMF suit in Spiderman 2. But how do you fix it? First, make sure to complete all the EMF Experiments, especially the final hidden one, and interact with the Science Trophy.
Complete all EMF Experiments
First of all, make sure that you’ve completed every single EMF Experiment, as there are nine in total. It really could be that simple, perhaps you thought you finished all of the EMF Experiments in Spideman 2, but there may be one or two left.
Many players also don’t realize that there’s one last EMF Experiment to complete that only becomes available after you finish the main campaign. Once you complete the story, go find the final EMF Experiment in Astoria and see if that works.
If not, other players on Reddit have discussed that it could be a common bug. But one user found that there’s one EMF Experiment in Hell’s Kitchen by the shore that’s difficult to spot.

Find the Science Trophy
There’s another possible solution that involves interacting with the Science Trophy on the roof of Trinity Church. You can find this church in the Financial District, as you can see in the image above. If you don’t find and interact with this trophy, you won’t unlock the EMF suit.
After you do this, you’ll receive the Just Let Go Trophy and a cutscene. If this doesn’t show up, this is when it’s probably a glitch. Try restarting your game and retrying from the last save point.
