Splinter Cell Movie Being Considered

Rumors have been spreading that detail a possible Splinter Cell Movie. It has been suggested that initially Warner Bros. were aiming to close a deal, however it has shifted with Paramount Pictures being the frontrunner for the project.

Though most game to movie adaptions have gone wrong in the past, the Splinter Cell franchise does of course have the support of Tom Clancy who also happens to have generated many a movie for Paramount Pictures, so if the movie happens, it may have a bit of a better shot that previous franchises have been.
