Star Wars: The Old Republic Due Spring 2011?

Eager gamers may not get their hands on the highly-anticipated Star Wars MMO, The Old Republic, until next year according to an EA earnings call. In the call yesterday, EA’s John Riccitiello revealed its “major MMO” will be a “key driver” in its digital initiatives in 2011 and “As it stands today, the game’s making great progress towards a spring 2011 launch.”Although an EA spokesperson couldn’t confirm whether Riccitiello was referring to The Old Republic when we contacted them this morning, we suspect he was as the publisher’s only other announced MMO, crime-action title APB, is expected in March this year. In the meantime, be sure to check out our hands-on preview with The Old Republic here.
