Two major digital distribution sites, Steam and GamersGate, have announced Halloween sales.
Similar sales were revealed yesterday on and , but now it’s the turn of the PC crowd to get some deals.
Notable offers from Steam’s sale include Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines at 75% off, 80% off Amnesia: The Dark Descent and 25% off the fairly new Dead Island. There are few oddball entries too, like 50% off Terraria (well, it does have zombies I suppose) and 50% off a Train Simulator 2012 pack that includes a new DLC called Trains vs Zombies (wish that had been around when I the game).
Meanwhile, GamersGate would like to offer you 50% off Alice: Madness Returns, 83% off Aliens vs Predator and 50% off FEAR 3.
Both sales obviously have some overlap (Dead Space 2 is available with money off from each site, for example) but if you dig around you’re sure to find something to entertain you this weekend.
It’s a little vague when all of these offers end, but Steam’s “through 31 October” seems like a good bet (in other words, don’t expect money off after midnight).
