Valve has launched the first ever Steam Lunar New Year Sale a bit unexpectedly. Following no prior announcement, Valve marked down 8,996 titles across Steam including Fallout, Bioshock, and Tomb Raider. The sale rivals the discount rate of the famous seasonal Steam sales.

This sale is in celebration of the Lunar New Year, a yearly cycle based entirely around the moon.
While featuring the normal discounts, Valve has also put situations inside of a story of the main store page where you can choose which path to take. Kind of like a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure where Steam makes recommendations to you based on your choices.
The sale will end on February 12th at 10am PST, so make sure you head over to Steam to catch the best deals.
