Stellar Blade fishing guide: All 25 fish locations

Gotta catch 'em all.

Like all great video games, Stellar Blade has a fishing minigame with over two dozen fish to collect. If you need a break from slicing through Naytibas, you can kick back and cast your line to earn the Lonely Fisherman trophy.

While you only need to catch 20 species of fish to unlock the Lonely Fisherman trophy in Stellar Blade, it’s pretty easy to get all 25 since you’re going to visit every fishing spot in the game regardless. Plus, there’s a skimpy Nano Suit reward for snagging them all (though not as skimpy as the naked Skin Suit).

How to Fish in Stellar Blade

To unlock the fishing mechanic in Stellar Blade, play through the main story until you reach the Great Desert region. Then, seek out Clyde near the Fishing Hut to start the fishing tutorial and begin the Looking Glass side quest. After that, you can fish at any suitable fishing spot that you encounter on your journey.

You’ll need to complete a lengthy side quest chain to obtain Fantastic Bait, which is required to catch Jumbo Fish, the largest type of fish in the game. This questline kicks off with a bulletin board request called Wife’s Water Tank (unlocked after completing Looking Glass). Then, you’ll need to complete Unforgettable Fish Dish, Fish Research, A Gift for a Fishing Maniac, and finally Where Is the Fantastic Bait? Once those are out of the way, you’ll get access to Stellar Blade’s rarest bait.

With that, you can now catch every fish in Stellar Blade! Remember that you only need to catch 20 of the 25 total fish species in the game to get the trophy. If you manage to catch all 25, however, then you can return to Clyde to get the Ocean Maid outfit. It’ll be a great complement to the endgame Eve build that you no doubt have by this point in the game.
