Back to Rest is a main quest in the fifth chapter of Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris. One of the tasks that might be confusing for players is finding the Golden Shoot. Don’t worry because we’ve got this quest guide to help you out.

Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris main quest guide – Back to Rest
If you thought two quests earlier in your journey in Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris — Beast Sightings and The Three Keys — were quite confusing, then prepare for something that’ll make you scratch your head furiously. The Back to Rest main quest has several “Easter egg hunt-type” tasks and each one might feel exasperating.
You’ll get the quest as soon as you reach Eastavarieth Empire – Sarole Mountains. From there, just progress normally in the area until you hit a dead-end.
That dead-end happens to be an NPC who tells you that you can’t pass through a guarded cavern until you have permission from the village elder. Congrats, Dragon Slayer Kirito, it looks like you’ve met your match… a gate pass.
Anyway, Back to Rest has multiple stages that’ll take you through several zones in the Eastavarieth Empire. The Golden Shoot happens to be just the first of these (and the one that’ll let you pass the guarded cavern). Click on each page below for the part that you need help in:
