Syndicate does not have an online pass

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning’s online pass locks out single player content, SSX‘s online pass locks out the link between single and multiplayer content
So, it’s surprising then that EA has confirmed that Syndicate (a game with multiplayer and single player) include no online pass at all. And that’s because they want as many people as possible to access every part of the game… just like the old days.
“We want as little resistance or barriers to entry as possible,” said executive producer Jeff Gamon. “The co-op is equal billing in this. We wanted everyone who owns a copy of the game to have access to the entire product.”
Perhaps it’s just me, but EA may be throwing us a bone here given the fact that there has been so much backlash regarding the fact that this game bears very little in common with the series’ roots.
In what why does it bear so little in common? Well, funny you should! We’ve just published our final hands-on preview of Syndicate before our review goes live. Give it read and find all the answers.
