Titanfall increases Xbox One sales by 96%

The highly anticipated Microsoft exclusive, Titanfall has finally been released and is the best selling game this week in the UK.  The success of the game has also massively boosted Xbox One sales.

Chart-Track has revealed that 70% of all Xbox One consoles sold last week were bundled with Titanfall. It was no secret that Microsoft were hoping Titanfall could be a system seller and it seems they have got their wish. The reviews for Titanfall have almost all been positive and some are wondering if it could even rival Call of Duty as the biggest online shooter.

Xbox One Sales Have “Slowed To A Crawl” Says The Motley Fool

According to The Motley Fool, things may not be looking so good for Microsoft when it comes to the Xbox One. Despite a great launch, the sales of the console have “slowed to a crawl” and last month the PS4 outsold the Xbox One by a ratio of 2 to 1. These figures are from the research firm NPD.

Is the PS4 just doing especially well or is the Xbox One not selling as well as we all thought it would? At this early stage in the game it is hard to say but there are reports that retailers such as Target, Wal-Mart, and GameStop have begun to offer consumers deals on the Xbox One. Not a good sign considering how new the console is.
