How do you use the Time Ladder technique?

The Legnd of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has got every player discovering new and unique ways to solve puzzles, but a few pro players have discovered a new technique that uses Recall and Ultrahand — a technique jongisaurus on Reddit is dubbing the Time Ladder. This Time Ladder technique has the capability to solve most puzzles and may be useful in Tears of the Kingdom speedruns. Here is how to use the Time Ladder technique in Tears of the Kingdom.

How to use the Time Bridge technique in Tears of the Kingdom

As made famous by jongisaurus on Reddit, the Time Bridge technique uses Recall, Ultrahand, and two objects you can easily stand on. This technique does take some time to master, but once you’ve got it down, you can easily bypass hard puzzle sections and reach high places. I have a good grasp of how to perform the Time Bridge technique, so I can guide you through how to do it.

After placing the two objects in front of you, the Time Bridge technique starts with raising one of the objects as high as you can with Ultrahand. Hold it at the top for a few seconds and then drop it and wait a few seconds.

Next, jump onto the object you just raised with Ultrahand and use Recall on it. This next part is the hardest part, but with practice, you can do it with no problem.

Before the object you are standing on Recalls back into the air, you need to switch to Ultrahand and grab the other object. While the object you are on floats in the air, hold the second object up as high as you can with Ultrahand. Wait for everything to come back down naturally.

Once everything is back on the ground, now you need to jump onto the other object and Recall — the one you just raised with Ultrahand. You will raise twice as high, but before you do, remember to quickly use Ultrahand to grab the first object. Once you Recall twice as high into the air, raise the object with Ultrahand as high as possible. Wait for everything to fall naturally just like the first time.

And that is how you perform the Time Ladder technique. In theory, you can use this same technique as a Time Bridge. All you would need to do for that is repeat every step here but instead of using Ultrahand to move the objects vertically, you would Ultrahand the objects horizontally. I have bypassed many challenging puzzles by using the Time Ladder method. It is a great technique that I highly recommend you try as you enjoy Tears of the Kingdom!
