Valley of Silent Statues Mirror puzzle guide for Tears of the Kingdom

Once you gain access to Gerudo Town’s bunker, there are a few locations to discover. One of these locations is the entrance to Valley of Silent Statues. By this point, I’m guessing that you’ve probably already beaten the Regional Phenomena main quest in Rito Village. I recommend that you do that first, since you’ll want Tulin’s wind powers to help you with this puzzle.

As soon as you enter, Link finds himself in a large room. If you walk on the broken bridge, more pieces will fall off, so be careful. Leap off the edge, and activate Tulin’s power to give yourself a wind gust across the open chasm. Make it to the main area of the puzzle, and you should spot on the cavern wall across from you rubble covering something.

Fuse a Bomb Flower to an arrow, and shoot at the rubble to break it apart. Now, you have a bright source of light shining from the wall. All you need is a Mirror to reflect the light against. I luckily already had a Mirror Capsule in my inventory, but you can find a Mirror beside a few vases nearby.

How to use the Mirrors in Valley of Silent Statues puzzle

Once you have yourself a Mirror, use Ultrahand to lift it and reflect the light against the two orange hexagons on either side of the wall. After some time, it should activate, allowing you to open a secret room. If you head to the one on the left, step on the pressure plate to find a Bubbulfrog.

The room to the right is more important. Inside, you should see a fan, and a pile of sand. Activate the fan and aim it at the sand to blow it away, revealing another Mirror. Now, head back towards the beam of light with the second mirror. You can keep the first mirror in place on the floor or on a box, reflecting the light diagonally.

Then, use the second mirror to bounce that light off towards the third hexagon in the middle. Since this is hidden behind a wall, you’ll have to get the right angles to hit it. Inside this final room is a Shock Like, which is an electric Like Like. Wait until it spews out a bunch of electricity shots to see its weak point. Hit the bright yellow weak spot, then attack the Shock Like while its stunned.

The chest that this creature drops holds a chest containing a Gerudo Shield. This has a rating of 28, which is highly defensive. The chest behind it has a piece of Topaz inside. Other than that, along the walls of this room, you can find plenty of arrows, and a Knight’s Bow. Those are all the solutions to the Mirror puzzle in the Tears of the Kingdom Valley of Silent Statues cave!
