Hothead Games has confirmed a simultaneous release date of 31 August across all platforms (Xbox LIVE, PlayStation Network and PC) for The Baconing and issued a new trailer.
In it we get to meet and greet some of the folks DeathSpank will be hanging around with, insulting and hitting over the head with blunt instruments. They include a self-loathing (yet tasty) sidekick, a thoroughly Irish mafia, rogue pleasure bots and a nuclear family who, thanks to DeathSpank, are minus one boyfriend.
There’s also word from Hothead that the game will be available through Steam at a discount of 20% prior to launch.
