After the sequel The Banner Saga 2 got delayed in late 2015 to sometime in the first quarter of 2016, people who enjoyed the saga were waiting patiently for an official announcement about the new release date.

Everyone who will preorder the game through Steam will receive 10% of the regular price and Stoic noticed once again that there will be no further launch day discounts.
Judging from the screenshots, The Banner Saga 2 will obviously follow the same path as the original title regarding aesthetics and it will follow closely the story of the first game. You can expect new races, an improved combat system and enough upgrades regarding other gameplay mechanics.
