How to move or rotate objects to any orientation in The Sims 4

When restricted to the rotate function in Build Mode, your house can tend to look more like a showroom rather than a realistic home. By Alt-placing objects, you can move them however slightly you’d like, or rotate them to whichever orientation.

To do so, just pick up the object, then hold down the ‘Alt key’ and move it. This allows you to change its direction or move it to any spot on the grid. You can also easily move objects up or down by pressing the 9 key and the 0 key respectively, while the bb.moveobjects cheat is activated.
