Kalypso revealed way back in 2011 that they had acquired the publishing right to Noumena Studios’ ARPG The Dark Eye – Demonicon, and today they have finally announced a rough release date.

Set in the The Dark Eye universe, which is apparently popular with fantasy fans here in Europe, the game follows the story of a brother and sister who face “moral decisions” and who’s “destiny will determine that of the entire continent”. All the usual RPG elements such as skill trees and levelling up are included but Demonicon can best be described as a third-person RPG with focus on combat and story.

The game will finally be released for the PC some time in late October according to Kalypso but no exact date has been nailed down.
