The New Voice Of StarCraft II’s Kerrigan

It’s been suggested that the voice for Kerrigan in upcoming StarCraft II might be Karen Strassman and not Glynnis Talken Campbell, the original voice.

In February both Talken Campbell and co actor Roberth Clotworthy (Jim Raynor) told the IncGamers StarCraft channel that neither of them would be doing a reprisal in StarCraft II, creating some controversy among fans. However, the trailers at BlizzCon last year had a new actor for Jim Raynor, but kept Talken Campbell.

In an interesting turn of events, Clotworthy, again talking to IncGamers, had good news claiming he was back on the cast again. No word about Kerrigan/Talken Campbell, however.

The actor might have been changed though, since we can now see Karen Strassman has updated her resume, adding “StarCraft II – Lead” to it. The more revealing fact is at the end of her voice clip reel, she has the famous line: “For I am Kerrigan, Queen of Blades.”

However, it’s worth noting she appears to have voiced more than one StarCraft character, and there is no confirmation there won’t be some other “Lead” in StarCraft II.

We have contacted Blizzard for clarification.

Update: There is now more information about Strassman, Talken-Cambell and Clotworthy.
