The Sims 4 Get Together Expansion Delayed to December 2015

If you watched Gamescom back in August, you too had the opportunity to see a somewhat cringe-worthy presentation for the latest Sims 4 expansion, Get Together. Despite the presentation being kind of cheesy and weird, the content for the expansion looked relatively interesting.
The new expansion is focused on “getting together” for various social events such as board games and clubs. Although perhaps not everything fans of the series were looking for, it undeniably looked to add a nice amount of content to improve the experience.
After hearing feedback, it was decided that The Sims 4 Get Together will be delayed to December, which was announced in a blog post.

Your enthusiasm and feedback inspired us to work even harder to make sure that this pack is everything it could be. So we’ve decided to take a little more time to work on the expansion pack. We’re taking this time to add more polish and depth into the core of The Sims 4 Get Together. We think this time will allow us to make the experience even bigger, better, and cooler. We’re working on some new items and features that we really think you’re going to love. There’s a new board game (Don’t Wake the Llama!) and the Natural Pool now has a diving rock for your Sims to jump off!

The Sims 4 Get Together will release in North America on December 8th, and will release in the rest of the world by the end of that week. More details about the expansion will be revealed in early November.
