The Crafting Bench in The Survivalists is manufactured via Blueprint Mode. After building it, you’ll see a host of new items that can be made.

To be fair, many of these come from the character craftables section. Indeed, anything unlocked in the character craftables menu also shows up here. You can simply consider this as an expanded means of generating new stuff.

I’ve also added a table for the additional Crafting Bench item requirements as well as an accompanying image for the recipe tree.

Among the items you can create via the Crafting Bench, I found the animal trap to be the most useful. As mentioned in our beginner’s guide, you can place several of these near your camp, preferably where lots of rabbits are hopping around. If you check back after a day or so, you’ll find lots of meat and fur clumps inside.

Likewise, the training dummy is very useful. With it, you can train your monkeys by attacking the dummy instead of trying to find a hostile creature. There’s also the luxury bed sheet that you want once you can make upgraded beds.

Lastly, there’s the makeshift sail. After you’ve built a raft next to the shore, don’t forget to place the makeshift sail on it. This will let you sail to new islands.

After this, the next crafting items will come from the Forge. These are some of the more high-end items and materials you can find in The Survivalists, including those needed for legendary-type weapons you obtain from vaults.

Since we’re only looking at the basics for this crafting guide, I’ll discuss these concepts in a future article. For now, let’s talk about cooking food using the Campfire.
