Nadeo’s Trackmania sequel was announced in September of 2009, but is finally ready (almost) to launch a beta.
A post over on the Maniaplanet forums from a Nadeo developer confirms that “There is still time before the beta is ready. We need to work on some aspects of maniaplanet before. [But] at least it is after E3.”
He goes on to say “how many weeks is still to be determined,” suggesting this isn’t exactly a concrete date.
There is, however, a new screenshot from the game, which can be seen below.
