The Vive’s controllers are not bad at all but the boffins at Valve were ready to show a new prototype of VR controllers at Steam Dev Days in Seattle.
Looking at the image, it appears to have a grip and grasping function, a feature that would prove very useful in VR. The other image second from the right also appears to be a sleeker version of the current Vive controller. It’s hard to tell how this will work but no doubt we’ll hear more about this in the coming hours.
As well as controllers, there’s a new base station coming although the image gives nothing away.
