Valve turns to modders for help with new Counter-Strike

Arsenal Mode based on the popular ‘Gun Game’ mod.
Today Valve announced that a version of the Counter-Strike: Source mod ‘Gun Game’ will appear in the upcoming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Dubbed Arsenal Mode the game type will be playable in two forms, Arsenal: Arms Race and Arsenal: Demolition, across eight maps.
Valve have enlisted the help of the original developers of the Gun Game mod in a bid to get Arsenal Mode right:
“We are excited that Valve reached out and is working with us to ensure Arsenal Mode is the best version of  Gun Game,” said Michael Barr, project lead of Gun Game. 
Counter-Strike Offensive Strike is due in early 2012 on Xbox Live Arcadem PlayStation Network and Steam (for PC and Mac).
