Ring Garland tears of The Kingdom

What does Ring Garland do in Tears of The Kingdom? (TotK)

Ring a ring of roses.

There are a million little items throughout Hyrule to collect in Tears of The Kingdom. Minerals, weapons, and decorations can be grabbed from every corner of the densely populated world. Naturally, this presents an irresistible urge for players like me to get my hands on absolutely everything I can. Unfortunately, my need to be a perfectionist has wasted hours of my life I will never get back. One of the slightly more confusing items is the Ring Garland in Tears of The Kingdom; it can be picked up in Kakariko Village.

What does Ring Garland do in Tears of The Kingdom?

So far, there is no apparent use for the Ring Garland in Tears of The Kingdom. Apart from looking pretty when fused to a shield, there isn’t much more it currently does. As the game goes on and new DLC is released, there may be a new quest added in which it becomes useful. So far, all it does is trigger a few cute extra lines from some folks in the Gerudo Shelter. However, you will have to head there yourself. I won’t spoil the surprise.

Nevertheless, most players are simply using the ring garland to adorn their shields. It presents a rather pretty decoration to a drab bit of equipment.

How to get the Ring Garland

To get your hands on the Ring Garland in Tears of The Kingdom, you’ll need to make your way to Kakariko village. This is most easily accessed by using the Sahasra Slope Skyview Tower. Simply get blasted out of the top of it and glide your way over. You should be able to make it the whole way.

Once you’re in the village, go down to the center of town. Finally, You will find the Garland seller there. She’ll happily sell you a Ring Garland for only five Rupees and seal it with a kiss. Cute.
