Where my blue pump shotgun crew at?

The exceptional hype surrounding Fortnite’s return to its Chapter 1 roots has riled up a ton of discourse on the internet, especially among older fans of the battle royale.

Ominous tweets from official Fortnite accounts and mysterious images of parts of a poster have led to much confusion as to which items are returning in celebration of the OG Fortnite and which will remain vaulted.

All these tiny teasers across multiple Fortnite social accounts make it difficult to differentiate between what’s legit and what’s not. That’s why we’ve written this guide as a one-stop shop to find everything you need to know about what items are back in Fortnite OG from Chapter 1. Read on to find out about all the legacy weapons and vehicles making their return-some of them might surprise you!

ATK

The ATKs are back for Fortnite OG! These are drivable golf carts that used to be in Fortnite and have now made their welcome return. Older fans may remember them for their comically low handling that often resulted in rolling over when hit by another vehicle, or just by turning too sharply.

Shopping Cart

Another iconic vehicle from Fortnite’s past is the Shopping Cart. The fun and unexpected gameplay moments you can get out of the shopping cart physics while navigating the battlefield in style are more than enough to earn it a place in Fortnite OG. Get ready to relive the hilarious moments of pushing your squad mates around in one of these.

Baller

Ballers, those classic Jurassic World glass balls are back. Fun to play with but difficult to maneuver, I love the idea of swinging around in a Baller once again because they just provide a sense of security, you know? Like the kind you get when you put your head under the blanket at night.

Planes

Airborne mayhem returns with the reintroduction of the X-4 Stormwing plane. Take to the skies and engage in epic aerial dogfights as you pilot these aerial vehicles. Likewise, you better keep an eye on the sky as you traverse the old hills of Fortnite Island cause these planes are loaded with blazing machine guns in the front.

Mounted Turret

The less cultured long-lost cousin of the Business Turret is making a return in Fortnite OG.  These stationary weapons were known for their destructive potential, and now, you can once again rain down destruction on your opponents from a fortified position.

Light Machine Gun (LMG)

All of the classic weapons like the OG pump and the SCAR will certainly be back for Fortnite Og. But along with these iconic weapons, a certain LMG has also taken the spotlight in the aforementioned teaser, held in hand by presumably a remixed skin of Ragnarok and Omega. With the LMG back in action, expect intense firefights, sky-high fortresses shredded to pieces, and a renewed flurry of chaos on the battlefield.

Traps

Fortnite official Competitive X/Twitter account has teased the return of traps with a carefully worded tweet. This means we can confidently assume that we’ll see the revival of classic spike traps in Fortnite OG and with it, the number of broken keyboards and monitors that result from falling victim to one.
