Modern Warfare 3 Ranked Play coming soon
You miss the days when a game was fully released on the release day, huh? Well, so do I, but I guess we will have to be happy we what we’ve got. Ranked play will come to Modern Warfare 3 on approximately January 17, just as Season 1 Reloaded arrives.
Yes, I say approximately because the only thing that we know is that Season 1 Reloaded will be the season that will see the arrival of ranked play. This is according to both Treyarch and Sledgehammer Games. Modern Warfare 2 ranked play arrived on Season 2 – there was no Reloaded season back then. If everything goes as planned, players will get to battle it out in ranked play and be able to play the game in a more competitive and rewarding way. After all, getting significant rewards while also playing under specific restrictions and the possibility of becoming a top worldwide player is something that will keep the Operators’ blood pumping from the moment it arrives.
There has been no further information regarding what modes and specific rules will be active during ranked play in Modern Warfare 3. We know that we can expect objective-centered match types like Search and Destroy or Hardpoint. Weapon and attachment restrictions to balance the playing field are something we will see as well.
