Starfield is a game that has a massive amount for you to do within its galaxy. You can choose to spend the entire day raiding enemy ships in space, or you can spend time simply exploring planets and moons on the hunt for materials for upgrades. That’s actually a rather key part of Starfield, crafting upgrades and mods for your various different items that you’ll be using during your journey across the stars. One of the things you’ll need for crafting upgrades is different metals, minerals, and materials, which you need to mine for and find in the environment of different planets. But what if there was a way for you to buy new minerals? Here’s our guide on where to buy minerals in Starfield. From Titanium, Tungsten, Nickel, and more.

Where to buy minerals in Starfield?

You can buy minerals in Akila City. You can find Akila City pretty early on during the main story of Starfield and it is located on Akila in the Cheyenne System. When you get to Akila City you can find the shop pretty easily. The shop you’re going to be looking for is Midtown Minerals.

To find Midtown Minerals to be able to buy some minerals in Starfield, you’re going to want to head into Akila City from the entrance, and continue all the way down to the end of the path until you reach The Rock. Just before you make your way to The Rock, you should see a building on the left of this up some stairs, this building is Midtown Minerals. You can see the actual outside of the shop in the image below.

What can you buy there?

Well, as it says on the tin really. You can buy a lot of different minerals here in Starfield, and I’m not sure whether more are unlocked as the game goes on, but the selection at the beginning of the game is genuinely pretty expansive. You can find minerals such as Cobalt, Iridium, Plutonium, and much more. I was able to buy the exact minerals that I needed for my weapons upgrades here, and here’s hoping you can find what you need too.

Starfield is available for purchase on Steam.
