Where to farm Ballistic Fiber in Fallout 76

Stay regular.

Resource hunting and upgrading your gear is paramount in Fallout 76. However, not all are easy to find and some require more leg work. Ballistic Fibers are one of those sought-after resources. The issue is that it is increasingly hard to find as you progress Fallout 76. Don’t fret though, we can show you where to farm Ballistic Fiber in Fallout 76.

Fallout 76: Where to farm Ballistic Fiber

Knowing the best ways to get the fiber can change Fallout 76 as a whole. The harder Mole Miners can be easily taken if you have the fiber to upgrade your gear. So let’s figure out the best ways to get Ballistic Fiber. First, you have to try searching in areas with a heavy concentration of resources, I suggest looking in Camp McClintok, Fort Defiance, and The Thorne.

By starting the search in Camp McClintok, you can find six Military Ammo Bags and two Military Duck Tape. Each will yield about two Ballistic Fibers

Next, I recommend taking on Fort Defiance if you’re at a high level and well-equipped. But before you do, make sure you get the Vault 33 bundle. It’ll help you out if you get stuck in combat. This spot seems to have a high amount of Ballistic Fiber with nine bags to search from. However, I wasn’t able to find Military Duck Tape in this area, so you might be stuck with the Ammo Bags. This isn’t a deal breaker though, each of the Ammo Bags should give out two fibers per bag.

The Thorn is probably one the hardest places to be in due to the danger level of the creatures that may roam nearby. Inside the military outpost, you should find around four bags, three Ammo Bags, and a single Military Duct Tape. I wasn’t strong enough to deal with the enemies, so I just ran for the bags, got everything, and ran out. I highly recommend you do the same.

Other ways to get more Ballistic Fiber

Those aforementioned areas are great ways to obtain high amounts of Ballistic Fiber quickly, but there are other ways to earn the resource. The easiest method is buying it from vendors. Ballistic Fiber is expensive, so make sure you’re saving up Caps whenever you can. If you can’t find a vendor with the Ballistic Fiber, I’ve found one in the Whitespring Mall. Not every vendor will have the fiber, but your chances will increase here.

Additionally, you can find Military Duck Tape and Ammo Bags scattered around randomly in the world. You might just find one on accident on your adventure — so keep your eyes peeled.
