Where to find Razorshrooms in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (TotK)

Those definitely don't seem safe to eat.

When you want to deal more damage in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Razorshrooms are what you need. These helpful fungi can give you an attack buff, and since they’re a fairly common find, collecting them is easy. But there are a couple of places that make collecting them even easier. Let’s get into where you can find Razorshrooms in Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom: Where to find Razorshrooms

Breath of the Wild had quite a few locations where you could find a large quantity of Razorshrooms. Unfortunately, Tears of the Kingdom‘s areas have changed more dramatically than you’d expect. Long story short, your old farming spots probably won’t work as well anymore. And there don’t seem to be many spots that are quite as good. But there are still one or two areas that can net you a decent amount of Razorshrooms. As a common rule, Razorshrooms typically grow next to trees and appear in lots of areas throughout Hyrule. But there are only a few spots where you can find a bunch of them at once.

This is the path that leads up to the Lost Woods, and you can find a handful of Razorshrooms amid the trees. They’re quite spaced out from what I’ve experienced so make sure to look all over to get all the Razorshrooms that spawn in this area in Tears of the Kingdom.

Thyplo Ruins

At the northern edge of Hyrule you can find Thyplo Ruins, and there’s quite a lot of interesting stuff here. But we’re here for Razorshrooms and there seems to be a decent amount here. I’ve found four to five Razorshoorms every time I’ve come here and that seems to be a good amount. Again, they’re all quite spaced out so search everywhere.

The next best place to gather Razorshrooms is at the Korok Woods General Store. To access this you’ll need to have saved the Great Deku Tree. And once you’ve unlocked the store you can reliably buy four Razorshrooms for 80 Rupees. Then you just need to wait for some time to pass before heading back to the shop to purchase them again. If you’ve got a lot of Rupees from a certain infinite Rupee glitch then you’ve got the perfect thing to spend them on here.

Razorshrooms are a common ingredient in Tears of the Kingdom. But finding the right spot for them can be tricky. Luckily going to all three of these areas should get you over a dozen Razorshrooms which should be perfect for any recipes you have planned. Elsewhere, you can also farm for Endura Carrots and Golden Apples when you’ve got the chance.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now available on Nintendo Switch.
