A spirited approach.

In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you will visit a number of temples as you gather your strength. The last one you will likely encounter is the Spirit Temple, and your time there will be brief. Here is our guide telling you where to find the Spirit Temple entrance in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Tears of the Kingdom – where to find Spirit Temple entrance

Very late in the game’s campaign, you will finally clear the last of the four temples. That’s when the plot throws a wrench in the works. It turns out there is a fifth sage and, by extension, a fifth temple. You will go a long way toward reaching the temple as you figure out where to find the fifth sage.

To find the Spirit Temple entrance, you must explore the Depths. You can actually access the temple well before the plot expects you to enter it, which is what I did because I was searching for Bargainer Statues. There’s no reason not to do the same thing yourself, if you feel like exploring. You can find it where indicated by the below screenshot.

The Spirit Temple entrance stands near the southern portion of the Depths, south from Tobio’s Hollow Chasm. Accessing that chasm requires you to take a lot of steps, which we have outlined in our guide telling how to unlock Tobio’s Hollow Chasm.

If you want to reach Spirit Temple before the story campaign provides you a guided tour, you’ll need to approach from a different nearby chasm. The Hills of Baumer Chasm is a good option. Refer to the screenshot below to find that chasm’s overworld entrance. It lies west from Popla Foothills Skyview Tower.

After diving into the Hills of Baumer Chasm, activate the nearby Busus Lightroot. From there, continue due south some distance until you reach the end of the area with the high wall to your left. Proceed in that direction (east) to find Muokuij Lightroot. Then take a long hike southeast to reach Sijotu Lightroot. From there, you can head just about due south to reach the Spirit Temple. Watch out for the Hinox along the way.

When you find the Spirit Temple entrance, you can’t actually head inside unless Mineru is with you. However, it’s still convenient to know the Spirit Temple’s entrance location ahead of that meeting.
