The various bosses around Once Human are majestic and terrifying. The work that has gone into each one makes them all a marvel. However, they need to be destroyed for the good of humankind. Here is how you can find The Great One Treant and defeat it in your Once Human journey.
Where to find Treant the Great One
Once you have progressed far enough through the storyline of Once Human, you should inevitably come up against Treant. It is the second boss you will face off against and I recommend you are around level 20 before you decide to take it on. Of course, with a few friends, you can get in there a little lower.
You will find the Treant Great one in the Broken Delta area of the map. It is in the central area, just to the north. You can get to the Treants area in Once Human by heading northwest from the Sutherland Chemical Plant.
How to defeat Treant in Once Human
Taking down the Treant in Once Human is a two-stage process. First, you need to drop the protective vines, and then once it is vulnerable, hammer at its weak spots. You’re going to need at least some kind of range for your weapons for this battle, so go in with something like a rifle. A shotgun just won’t cut it.
For the first stage of your Treant fight, look for the vines located all around the arena. They can be identified by their glowing purple areas. They also wave and wiggle. Look around the map to find them. They are situated in high areas that can be reached by using the gravity lifts around the area.
Once you have taken down the vines, you will have two minutes to attack the Treant. Its weak spots are the Purple areas on its body. These are located on its back, and it’s actually a little lady riding the Treant. Aim for her to quickly drop the health of the Treant in Once Human.
The Treant has four attacks, all of which can be avoided in different ways.
- Dandelions – Simply step out of the way as they lazily float towards you.
- Roar and Slam – Find one of the white ‘Bulbs’ around the map and shoot it to create a shield that will deflect the shockwave.
- Lazer – Dodge roll out of the way.
- Rocks – Wait for the Treant to lift them, and then dodge when it throws them your way.
Avoid these four attacks and plug away at the weak point on the Treant’s back, and you will quickly defeat the second Once Human boss.
