Which Thirstsona to spend points on in Thirsty Suitors

Decisions, decisions.

In Thirsty Suitors, you get rewarded some Thirstsona points in three categories based on the choices you make in dialogue which determines your personality traits. These categories also act as classes that come with their own buffs.

The best part is you’re also free to choose which Thirstsona category you want to spend your points on because you receive them after battles. You can then spend those points on any of these three categories to shape your overall build. But how does each category help in combat, and which one is the best to spend points on? Read on to find out.

The Star

At the start, Thirstsona points are best spent on the Star class, mainly to increase your base Willpower. Fights at the start are easier so you don’t have to worry about health as much, but the Star still gives HP a minor boost. What’s more irritating is constantly depleting your willpower bar making you have to go back to basic attacks. The Star category gives you a permanent increase of 10 to Willpower which gradually adds up.

I’ve spent the majority of my points on The Star because then I don’t have to worry about Willpower going low. This means I can constantly throw Taunts and Skill attacks at those thirsty marriage prospects that Paati keeps sending. There’s also a substantial boost to Defense rank which makes it go well with Heartbreaker.

The Heartbreaker

Don’t neglect The Heartbreaker, as that’s where you need to spend points to ramp up your Attack rank. If you like to face opponents head-on, this one is perfect as it increases the power of your attacks. It’s best to spend Thirstsona points on Heartbreaker once you’ve got a healthy amount of Willpower, so you’ve got the ammo to dish out those attacks. You should also increase your Attack rank with Heartbreaker before you go up against Diya, the second ex and first main boss of the game.

The Bohemian

Putting Thirstsona points into Bohemian isn’t strictly necessary. Battles in Thirsty Suitors are more leisurely, and if you’ve played any turn-based combat game in the past you won’t have much trouble in this one. But, still, if you find yourself constantly losing battles, you could put some points into Bohemian while you work on your attack strategy.

You’ll also gain points that go straight into any one of these categories as you play, since your Thirstsona is affected by the dialogue options you choose. So don’t be perplexed if your build doesn’t stay exactly like you set it.
