EGOSOFT are set to launch a new expansion for their space title X Rebirth called Home of Light.

The Home of Light expansion is set for release in February along with the game’s 4.0 update which will be released for free. The expansion will bring three new systems to the space game including the Home of Light from X3.
Also being added is a new BBS system to collect all available missions in one place, trading improvements with graphs that show market developments over time which also come with UI improvements, new ship technology including ship Jump Drive for faster travel, customisable weapon upgrades, new Trade stations and “many new secrets”.
The expansion will costs $7.99 and can be picked up from Steam with the 20% discount from today.
