Nvidia Rtx 4080 Zotac Launch Window

Zotac has seemingly revealed the launch window for the Nvidia RTX 4080

It's deducing time.

With the recent announcement of Nvidia’s next-generation 40 Series graphics cards comes a few weeks of speculation. The RTX 4090 already received a specific release date during its reveal event. However, the RTX 4080’s launch was a bit unclear, with Nvidia promising a release sometime in November. But now, thanks to Zotac, we may have a rough launch window for the RTX 4080.

For the most part, everything that we know is based on speculation. So with that said, take most of this as our best estimate for when we could see the RTX 4080 hit retail. We’re inferring from indirect phrasing that indicates a release window for Zotac’s RTX 4080 graphics cards.

A potential RTX 4080 launch in early November

To kick things off, let’s go over the release date for the RTX 4090. This card is due to release on October 12, as everyone is likely aware of by now. Zotac refers to this as an early October release window. The post on Zotac’s website refers to the release of the RTX 4080 in a very similar way, stating “early November, 2022.” It doesn’t take a lot of extra thinking to guess that the RTX 4080 could release somewhere in the same period. It’s likely that it’ll come out sometime between November 3 and 10 judging by this.

Of course, Zotac’s RTX 4080 launch isn’t the only notable date in November for graphics cards. AMD announces its RDNA 3 lineup of graphics cards on November 3. Considering Nvidia’s track record of countering competitor announcements and launches, it wouldn’t be surprising to hear more about the RTX 4080 around the same time AMD takes the stage.

The most likely scenario is that the RTX 4080 launch will be sometime after this event. But we’re also not sure if the 12GB and 16GB models of the RTX 4080 will release at the same time. There’s a chance of a gap between the releases of the two. Of course, that’s also speculation at the moment, so we’ll have to wait and see.

Nvidia’s next lineup of graphics cards is coming with a neat set of features and updates. DLSS 3 in particular is shaping up to be a big deal for performance gains. And while Nvidia’s presentation had plenty of excitement, we’re all itching to see reviewers get their hands on the new graphics cards. It won’t be long before the RTX 4090 is put to the test. Then very soon it’ll be the RTX 4080’s turn if Zotac’s launch window is anything to go by.
