Total War: Rome 2 gets Baktria as free faction

Total War Rome 2 Baktria

Recommended Videos

Another free faction has been released for Total War: Rome 2, and this time it’s Baktria’s turn up to bat.

Apparently, Baktria was originally a part of Alexander the Great’s empire, and acted as a sort of trade hub between east and west. They’re primarily a trading nation, but their emphasis on commerce means that colonists from across the known world went to live there… which resulted in a rather varied military that blended everything from Greek troops to units from the more eastern nations. As such, they should offer a rather unique play experience.

Baktria is totally free, and your copy of Total War: Rome 2 should update automatically. You can find some more details on the faction over on the Total War wiki.
