A new Sim City? Yes, please.

This has gotten me a little excited.
Electronic Arts has said that a major announcement will be coming from developer Maxis (Sim City, The Sims, Spore) next month during the Game Developers Conference.
At 2am 6 March GMT EA will broadcast a livestream online, during which Maxis will make their announcement.
The promotional blurb for the event reads “How can we change the world together? Find out when EA hosts the Game Changers event at GDC. What would you do if you had the power to change the world?”
If that’s not related to a new Sim City then I’ll be very disappointed. If it’s in some way Spore related, I’ll be extremely disappointed.
Sim City has not been seen since 2003’s Sim City 4, which (while not bad) was hardly the series’ best moment.
Medal of Honor 2 is also due to be officially announced at the event. Yawn.
