The chart below has been compiled with data taken between 8-14 July, meaning that the first three days of the Steam Summer Sale are being taken into account.

Arma 2 remains top of the pile, managing to see off Max Payne 3 despite the Rockstar game being on offer at 50 per cent off for the duration of the Summer Sale (Arma 2 is currently 20 per cent 0ff).

Every game in the top ten features a price reduction of some sort. Left 4 Dead 2, for example, was one of the games chosen in the community voting promotion, meaning it was being sold at 75 per cent off for eight hours a few days ago.

The Summer Sale continues until 22 July.
